Please note: The 9:30am shift on October 2 is very near capacity. We encourage you to select another shift.
By registering for Community Days, you’re becoming part of our largest volunteer event of the year. Together with colleagues across the U.S. and Canada, we’ll make a difference for cancer patients in our communities.
By volunteering at Community Days, you’re helping patients in two important ways:
- Gift of a Care Package – Small gestures bring hope to people with cancer. That’s why you’ll create care packages that reach patients through Giving Comfort, our McKesson Foundation program.
- Gift of Services – When you sign up, the McKesson Foundation gives $10 to Family House, our local Cancer Care Community Partner. Family House is a not-for-profit organization that serves as a home away from home for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses while they receive treatment at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital. Family House offers physical comfort and emotional support, free from financial concerns where families find hope, comfort, and healing.
When you sign up, you also support the team challenge for more grants to cancer nonprofits.

Please note: We will have snacks and beverages available. Children are welcome at any of the four shifts, however, the children's games and face painters will ONLY be available during the morning shifts.
